Corporate

Long hours, deadlines, conferences, presentations these are just a few of the daily stresses employees and bosses face in the corporate world. With those daily stresses crowding our minds, we naturally begin to loose connectivity with our bodies, how we are feeling, if we ate well…all those important factors become irrelevant. We are here to help! As much as skipping a meal here or missing out on a family celebration there may seem like a good way to stay on top of work and be the best, that is a short term solution. Soon enough a burn out kicks in. The commute to work takes a little longer than planned one morning and frustration ruins the rest of your day. You come home and your kids are running around and instead of being thankful and happy to see them you plan a vacation to “escape” reality. Perspective, Connectivity, Mindfulness are three very important things to keep in mind. There will always be deadlines and presentations and meetings, but you only get one body and your health, both mental and physical, should not be on the back-burner while your career takes the lead because sooner or later your health will come knocking and put a halt to your career if you do not take care of yourself. The goal is to be the best version of yourself and that does not just mean at work, that means at home too! You should wake up excited to face the day, not stressed and dreading the week ahead. To be as successful as possible your mind and body need to be one, the proper nutrients need to be fueling you throughout the day, and a form of physical activity needs to be a priority in your workweek as well.
